Die Akromikrie, von altgriechisch ἄκρος akros, deutsch β€šΓ€ußerstβ€˜ und altgriech. altgriechisch ΞΌΞΉΞΊΟΟŒΟ‚ mikrΓ³s, deutsch β€šklein, engβ€˜, bezeichnet eine sehr seltene angeborene VerΓ€nderung mit abnormal kleinen Akren und von Teilen des Skelettsystems, also kleines Gesicht und kleine HΓ€nde.cite-ref-1[1]cite-ref-flexikon-2-0[2] Das Gegenteil wird als Akromegalie bezeichnet.

Die Bezeichnung wird heute nicht mehr fΓΌr ein eigenstΓ€ndiges Krankheitsbild, sondern fΓΌr ein Symptom verwendet.
